You might think it takes a lot of effort to ensure that your day is unproductive, lazy and depressing. It really doesn’t take a lot of effort to successfully ruin your own day. Perhaps four or five things which do not really require a lot of effort:
I. Make sure you wake up a bit late at maybe around 10 am because you need to have enough rest and energy to be effective on the day. Also considering that sleep is very important for your mental health, concentration and full rest take your time to get off bed and maximise your sleeping hours.
II. You don’t feel too hungry! perhaps you could stay for a further 30 mins on Bed. Take your phone and browse through Twitter because you have to stay informed about the world and that which is new. Refresh the page to ensure that you cover every post and tweet that didn’t show up on your initial browse. Oh, don’t forget to switch for a moment to WhatsApp because that’s where you get to talk to your close friends. Reply to those two messages then check the statuses because that’s where 'The Juice' is …. an alternative to morning coffee [Chuckles]. As you scroll across the status make sure to adjust the pillow for your own comfort because you might be on bed longer than expected.
III. You can’t let those Instagram notifications unattended because that’s where you proxy your future glamorous life and get to know where people spent their night. Also, Instagram people are beautiful and are your cup of tea so, maybe serve them with a few stories to brighten their day…… you are doing the lord’s work. Along the way, switch back to WhatsApp because you still have a lot of statuses to view and conversations to keep up with. See how night life is beautiful, get more snaps of others life also on Snapchat because they don’t really use Instagram so much. Don’t forget to check your wonderful people at Facebook because they brew memes like your old aunties brewing Traditional Beer. Intoxicate yourself with Laughter happiness and roll on your bed.
IV. Its been close to 2 hrs, so you better make sure you prepare your breakfast now because they say it’s the most important meal of the day. Hunger is also sipping in so, 3 slices of toasted bread, greased with that palatable salted butter: Couple that with two scrambled eggs, two Sausages and a sliced tomato. Your body needs that caffeinated coffee to get rid of the tiredness and the heaviness so, make one and let the strong smell of nice coffee beans serenate you with a foggy steam exciting your sensory and pallet. Better to eat on you room so that your back is well anchored on your soft pillows. Also, since it’s a bit cold, getting your legs under your duvet or soothing fleece could be a good idea. If tempted just be on bed and chop your nice meal. If you still have that long YouTube video you wanted to watch, this would be the perfect time to put it on your phone or Laptop. Don’t let yourself overthink about loads of things you must have already started doing because you deserve a nice life. Be reminded of the necessity to keep on switching between your social media apps because maybe there is something new you might want to see.
V. As always, the food we eat seems to be sleep inducing, similar traits to a sleeping pill. If the sleep overways on you just put the dish on the bed side and pull the duvet closer to your head to take a nap. So far, I hope everything is effortless. If the nap waggon is moving faster and you can't just catch on, you can scroll through your phones again. You will get off your bed around 1600 hrs to take a shower then get work done for about 2 hours. Even when you are doing your work, make sure that YouTube is on or you are listening to music because it relaxes you. Once you get tired, go back to sleep. You can organise to repeat your day by trying to sleep a bit late while on your phone. Afterall, It’s all out of your control since you did nothing to be insomniac or re-enforce its patterns. Importantly, make sure you sleep after midnight.
